Beirut: The General Directorate of Cultural Affairs of the Ministry of Culture has announced the extension of the application deadline for the Best International Feature Film category at the 2026 Oscars until September 22, 2025. This extension aims to provide additional time for filmmakers to submit their entries for consideration.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, applications must be submitted to the office of the General Directorate of Cultural Affairs, located on the first floor of the UNESCO Palace, during the designated opening hours. This measure ensures that all potential entries are processed efficiently and meet the criteria set forth for the prestigious award category.
