Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri met with UNICEF Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa, Ted Chaiban, at the second presidency headquarters in Ain El-Tineh. The meeting, attended by UNICEF Representative in Lebanon Marco Luigi Corsi, focused on the ongoing developments in the region, particularly concerning displaced persons and UNICEF's initiatives in Lebanon amid the Israeli aggression against the country.

According to National Nws Aency - Lebanon, the discussions explored the evolving political and field situation resulting from the Israeli aggression and its impact on all levels within Lebanon. The session also examined the challenges posed by the displacement crisis and the role of UNICEF's programs in addressing these challenges effectively.

In a related meeting, Speaker Berri welcomed the ambassadors of Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, and Finland. The discussions with the ambassadors centered on the latest developments in Lebanon due to the escalating Israeli aggression. The ambassadors and Berri shared insights into the repercussions of the conflict and discussed strategies to manage the displacement dossier effectively.
