Cairo: Egypt has strongly condemned Israel's targeting of infrastructure in Lebanon, expressing deep concern over the escalating situation along the border. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, in an official statement, Egyptian authorities denounced the strikes as a dangerous escalation that threatens regional stability and exacerbates the humanitarian situation inside Lebanon. Cairo also warned against the consequences of any potential Israeli ground invasion, stressing that such a move could lead to wider conflict in the region and further destabilization. Egypt called on all parties to exercise restraint and urged the international community to intervene to prevent further deterioration and protect civilians.
