Hariri urged the nation to reflect on the lessons from the devastating civil war that resulted in significant loss of life and infrastructure. He called for a shift from the ‘militia mentality’ to embracing a state governed by constitutional and legal principles, emphasizing the importance of preserving national institutions and defending Lebanon’s independence.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Hariri stressed the necessity of prioritizing national interests over individual and sectarian agendas. He advocated for a collective movement towards legitimacy and the establishment of a just and competent state, urging citizens to abandon divisive practices in favor of unity and governance that serves all Lebanese people.
