Beirut: Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam, on Friday chaired a meeting of the committee overseeing implementation of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) action plan, with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Tarek Mitri and key ministers and officials.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the meeting reviewed progress toward meeting FATF requirements aimed at removing Lebanon from the grey list, including completed measures and upcoming milestones.

Salam reaffirmed the government’s commitment to fulfilling all requirements as quickly as possible, stressing the importance of sustained and systematic follow-up on implementation.
