UAE Prosecutor General Investigates Flydubai Cockpit Incident

Tabuk:UAE Prosecutor General Hamad Saif Al Shamsi has initiated an investigation into an incident involving a Flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv, which was diverted and landed safely in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the investigation involves a specialized Public Prosecution team examining an altercation that occurred inside the cockpit. The situation required intervention by company personnel on board to ensure the aircraft's security.

Investigators are working in coordination with the General Civil Aviation Authority and relevant UAE bodies to gather evidence. They aim to understand the incident's circumstances, motives, and any potential links to terrorist activity or prior planning.

Al Shamsi has advised the public to refrain from speculation and unverified information until the investigation concludes, emphasizing reliance on official sources for updates.

The UAE judicial system holds jurisdiction over the case, as the aircraft is registered in the Emirates and operates under the UAE flag.
