Beirut: The US Embassy in Beirut has announced that it is closely monitoring the developments in the Middle East and is urging US citizens to make decisions regarding their personal safety based on the latest developments.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Embassy confirmed via the "X" platform that the US government stands ready to assist its citizens who wish to leave the region by providing them with the latest information on available travel options.

The Embassy has highlighted that "Middle East Airlines" currently operates commercial flights from Beirut's Rafik Hariri International Airport. It has strongly advised Americans to consider traveling on one of these flights if they believe it is safe to do so.
