Beirut: Minister of Public Works and Transportation Fayez Rasamni convened an expanded meeting at his ministry office to deliberate on the rehabilitation and expansion of the Jounieh Coastal Highway. This initiative aims to improve transportation infrastructure and address traffic congestion issues in the region.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, later in the day, President of the Republic Joseph Aoun, invited by Minister Rasamni and MP Nehme Frem, officially inaugurated the Jounieh Tourist Port. This event is part of a broader initiative to bolster public-private sector collaboration and enhance the region’s tourism infrastructure. The new tourist port is strategically located opposite the General Security, highlighting the government’s commitment to boosting tourism and local economic development.
