Beirut: Arab Parliament Speaker Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi is leading a delegation from the Arab Parliament to Beirut, Lebanon, to engage in the general meeting of the Asian-African Parliamentary Council, scheduled for September 8-9, 2025, at the Lebanese Parliament’s headquarters.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Al Yamahi is set to deliver an address at the meeting’s opening, outlining the Arab Parliament’s vision for bolstering cooperation between Asia and Africa, with a particular focus on parliamentary collaboration. His speech will underscore the Arab Parliament’s dedication to enhancing parliamentary diplomacy and coordinating efforts at both regional and international levels.

During the visit, the Arab Parliament delegation, led by Speaker Al Yamahi, will conduct several high-level official meetings with senior officials in the Lebanese Republic, focusing on political and parliamentary matters.
