Mhaidtheh-bikfaya: Minister of Information, Attorney Dr. Paul Morcos, paid his respects on Sunday to legendary singer Fairuz at the "Church of Our Lady of the Dormition" in Mhaidtheh-Bikfaya, offering condolences on the passing of her son, Halli Rahbani.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Morcos expressed that after all Fairuz and the Rahbani family have contributed to Lebanon, it is a fundamental duty to be present during this time of mourning. He underscored the nation's profound gratitude for the artistic and cultural heritage that Fairuz and her family have shared, a legacy that has brought joy to many generations.

Morcos highlighted the state's high regard and appreciation for the Rahbani family's role in infusing joy into the hearts of many and for the invaluable legacy they have bestowed upon Lebanon. He described the loss as significant, acknowledging that words are insufficient in the face of Fairuz's profound silence, which once again teaches lessons of patience and resilience amidst repeated personal tragedies.
