Palestinian President Abbas, Jordan’s King Abdullah II Hold Meeting in Amman

Amman: A meeting between Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Jordan’s King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein began Wednesday in the Jordanian capital, Amman, in the presence of Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II. The meeting comes within the framework of joint coordination between the two leaderships to serve the interests of the two countries and their brotherly peoples.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, on the Palestinian side, the meeting was attended by Ziad Abu Amr, Head of the International Relations Department of the Palestine Liberation Organization; Majdi Al-Khalidi, Advisor to the President for Diplomatic Affairs; and Atallah Khairy, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Jordan.

On the Jordanian side, the meeting was attended by Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.
