Beirut: Minister of Public Works and Transport, Fayez Rasamny, on Wednesday held a meeting at his office with Minister of Tourism, Laura El-Khazen Lahoud, Brigadier Ezzat Al-Khatib, representing the Minister of Interior, and head of the Land Transport Unions and Federations, Bassam Tlais.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, talks during the meeting focused on regulating the operation of airport taxi services as part of a comprehensive plan to upgrade facilities and services at Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut. This initiative aligns with ongoing administrative and logistical measures aimed at enhancing the airport’s infrastructure and service delivery.
Participants in the meeting emphasized the critical role of coordination among ministries and relevant agencies to ensure the implementation of modern, organized, and safe transport services. The goal is to meet quality standards that reflect a positive image of Lebanon to travelers using the airport. The collaboration is seen as essential in providing a seamless transportation experience that aligns with international standards.
