Tehran: Vice President of the Supreme Islamic Shiite Council, Sheikh Ali Al-Khatib, headed this afternoon to Tehran to participate in the 39th Islamic Unity Conference taking place between September 8 and 10 at the Conference Palace in the Iranian capital.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Sheikh Al-Khatib will deliver a word at the conference, highlighting the current situation in Lebanon in light of the ongoing Israeli aggression. He will also meet with a number of delegations partaking in the conference.
