Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Wednesday received head of the Military Coordination Group for Lebanon (MCG4L), General Joseph Clearfield, in the presence of US Ambassador to Lebanon Michel Issa and a number of Clearfield's aides.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting focused on measures aimed at implementing the framework agreement reached as a result of the Lebanese-US-Israeli negotiations in Washington, in light of talks Clearfield held in Israel last week.

President Aoun is also scheduled to receive Information Minister Paul Morcos.
