Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri met with former Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi at the second presidency headquarters in Ain El-Tineh. The discussion centered on the fraternal relations between Lebanon and Iraq and explored avenues to enhance bilateral cooperation for the mutual benefit of both nations.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the meeting also focused on local, regional, and international developments. Both parties emphasized the importance of continued coordination to address various challenges and promote regional stability.
In a separate meeting, Speaker Berri welcomed Lebanon’s Ambassador-designate to Geneva, Caroline Ziadeh, and Lebanon’s Ambassador-designate to UNESCO, Hind Darwish.
