Yarzeh: National Defense Minister, Major General Michel Menassa, on Tuesday received Greek Ambassador to Lebanon, Despina Koukoulopoulou, at his office in Yarzeh.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, discussions reportedly focused on Greece’s contribution to strengthening the capabilities of the Lebanese Army. The meeting underscored the importance of international cooperation in bolstering Lebanon’s defense sector.
Separately, Minister Menassa received MP Fadi Karam, with whom he discussed the general situation and a number of national dossiers. This meeting highlighted the ongoing political discourse surrounding Lebanon’s pressing national issues.
Maj. Gen. Menassa later received Inspector General of the Lebanese Army, Major General Fadi Makhoul, along with a delegation from the General Inspectorate. The discussions touched on matters related to the Inspectorate’s work, emphasizing the need for continued oversight and improvement within the military framework.
