Maarab: Lebanese Forces Party leader Samir Geagea paid tribute on Sunday to the fallen martyrs after participating in a Mass commemorating the “Martyrs of the Lebanese Resistance” under the patronage of Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi, held in Maarab.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Geagea highlighted the sacrifices made by the martyrs, stating that they fought military battles with honor and loyalty, even to the point of martyrdom. Inspired by their martyrdom, Geagea emphasized that the Lebanese Forces engaged in national, political, and electoral battles, achieving victories at significant milestones.

Geagea further remarked on the historical journey of the Lebanese Forces, stating that for 50 years, they have struggled, confronted challenges, and paid the ultimate price, yet remained steadfast in their convictions. He affirmed that the blood of the martyrs was not shed in vain, reinforcing the commitment to Lebanon’s survival, freedom, and sovereignty.

In his address, Geagea criticized the resistance axis, accusing it of taking Lebanon hostage and mismanaging the nation’s affairs. He declared a firm stance that the Lebanese Forces will no longer accept anything less than a 100% Lebanese decision, underscoring the importance of maintaining a fully sovereign state.
