Beirut: Information Minister Paul Morcos met with UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay, expressing gratitude for UNESCO’s assistance in drafting a new media law in Lebanon. He emphasized the importance of issuing this law to safeguard media freedom and protect media professionals in accordance with international standards.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Morcos also acknowledged UNESCO’s support to “T©l© Liban” and public media outlets. Furthermore, he urged for additional support to be extended to the National News Agency and Radio Lebanon in the upcoming phase.
