Beirut: The Syrian Arab Army's Operations Command announced on Monday that it has detected the arrival of additional armed groups at positions held by the SDF organization in the eastern Aleppo countryside, near Maskanah and Deir Hafer.
According to National News agency - Lebanon, the Command said intelligence assessment confirmed that the new reinforcements included fighters affiliated with the PKK terrorist organization, along with remnants of the deposed regime.
The Command added that the Syrian Arab Army is closely monitoring the situation on the ground, warning that the deployment of these terrorist groups represents a "dangerous escalation." It stressed that any military movement by these groups "will be met with a strong response," adding that the army "will not stand idle in the face of this serious escalation."
