Damascus: Syrian Interior Minister Anas Khattab met at the ministry’s headquarters in Damascus with a delegation of prominent figures and dignitaries from Syria’s Shiite community, in the presence of several senior ministry officials.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the meeting focused on strategies to enhance security and stability within the country. The discussions underscored the necessity for citizens to actively support state institutions and contribute to strengthening national cohesion.

Khattab emphasized the importance of maintaining “continuous communication with all societal constituencies to enhance trust and national partnership.” The minister highlighted that such dialogue is crucial for fostering a cooperative environment and achieving the shared goal of national unity.
